NRML-MGNREGS CFT Convergence project is part of initiative taken by MoRD to strengthen the MGNREGA planning and implementation processes through regular handholding support to community and government by deploying the Cluster Facilitation team at Panchayat Level

SARDA in agreement with Rural Development Department, Government of Jharkhand, is facilitating the CFT program in 25 panchayats of Bengabad Block of Giridhi District of jharkhand, which aims to strengthen the implementation of the MGNREGAS program through critical facilitation and capacity buildings roles at the grassroots-strategically mobilizing CBOs (SHG Collectives) and Gram Panchayats, by performing as a technical secretariat to the selected Gram Panchayats by employing a team of staff under the CFT project.

Impact 

• Increased transparency is observe in MGNREGA practices, by increased participation of community in village monitoring, observed through 540 no. of queries raised against irregularities.
• Selection and work distribution to 515 women mates selected from self help groups.
•  As a new initiative step MGNREGA Sahayata Kendra has been established in bengaabd.
• Enhanced understanding of PRIs on roles and responsibilities in implementation of MGNREGA.
• improve practice of regularly organizing the Rojgar Diwas in all panchayats.
• Ensure closed monitoring of the MGNREGA payment by updating MIS, transferring of 90% of post office account to Nationalized bank and linking with AADHAAR.
• Convergence of MGNREGA with other scheme ensured, resulting in additional income generation to beneficiaries.
• Active participation of strengthen and capacitated village level organization, CHGs, Labor groups in MGNREGA planning, Implementation and Monitoring.
